: Speak with your child’s school district or regional education service center about this limited funding option. For more information, refer to the Texas Education Code (S.B. 1, Sec. 29.013) or visit the Region XI website @ www.esc11.net. On the menu, go to Staff and Services and then choose Services. Click on the VIEW button for Non-Educational Community Based Support Services Funding and you will find information and guidelines for funding for Region XI.Extended School Year Services (ESY)
: Speak with your child’s school district. ESY is needed whenever a student would experience unacceptable regression over the summer months. Respite care for parents is a factor considered in this program. For more information www.tea.state.tx.us/special.ed/resources/esy.html.
