Our basic philosophy about class
attendance:
·
Come Read with Me classes should be something that adds joy to your life,
not become just one more thing we have to do. Come when you can.
·
Many of our
students have jobs and other responsibilities in their lives. Classes
will begin on time, but it is understood that often a
student may arrive late or need to leave early due to job responsibilities or
transportation availability.
·
·
It is understood
that during the year students may be absent from class for one or more weeks
(vacations, job rescheduling, etc.). That is fine, since our mission is
to provide continuous opportunities for growth and sustained cognitive function, not pass a course. The encouragement of
Life-long Learning is our goal and that goal may certainly be included during
family trips or engaging in other activities that provide cognitive
stimulation.
Basic cost for classes
(private pay) is $10 per class (each day).
